In Memory of Ray Patterson

Coming Events - WBJS has three artists scheduled:  The Nick Moss show was great (stay tuned for pics to be posted soon).  More great shows are planned.  James Armstrong will perform February 12th, the Insomniacs entertain on March 13th and Laurie Morvan Band is on stage July 9th and we hope to bring Sax Gordon in late March.  All events will take place at the Attic. Cost and times to be posted soon.  The James Armstrong (and band) performance celebrates Lincoln's Birthday, Valentines"s Day and Mardi Gras!  The Wonderbar will be offering 10% off dinner with your ticket and running some great Valentine specials.  Tickets on sale soon.

Jams move back to the Parkway: Beginning January 17th the jams will again take place in All That Jazz at the Parkway Plaza.  On January 17 Rolland Juarez & Friends will host the jam.  Bring your instrument and participate.  Jams take place from 4 - 8 PM.

Hold your Memorial Day Weekend open!: The society has more exciting music in the works for April and May!  Don't make plans for Memorial Day Weekend just yet as we hope to host a dynamite show that weekend.

Great Organizational Tool - do you need a way to organize all those miscellaneous pieces of information on your computer?  I use AZZ Cardfile.  I used Windows Cardfile for over 15 years and replaced it with AZZ Cardfile recently.  AZZ Cardfile has many more features and works on all versions of Windows and is easy to use and search.  You can download and try it for free here and read user testimonials here.

Contribute to the Newsletter!  Have you been to a concert or festival recently?  Discovered a new artist or listened to a new CD of your favorite artist?  Write up your experience or review the music and send it in to share with fellow blues and jazz enthusiasts through the newsletter!  Send your review to newsletter@wyobluesandjazz.org or call 267-0652 to arrange pick-up.
